Two Rentals, One Lesson: Growth Happens in Every Deal

In real estate, it’s easy to focus on the numbers but the real value is in the experience. This month, I had the privilege of closing two very different rentals in Miami, and each one taught me something I’ll carry with me as I continue to grow in this business.

First came a luxury lease at Paramount Miami Worldcenter: Unit 4611 with 4 Bedrooms, 5 Bathrooms and 4,000 Sq.Ft., rented for $25,000/month.

This was more than a transaction it was an elevated experience. From the moment we stepped into the sky-high residence with panoramic views, I knew this lease would require precision and high-level service. Everything from the resort-style amenities to the client’s expectations demanded strategy, sharp communication, and next-level execution.

Working alongside my partner, Scott Porter, was incredibly enriching. His professionalism, clarity, and attention to detail made every step of the process smooth and collaborative. We worked as a team to secure a top-tier rental in one of Miami’s most iconic towers, and I walked away feeling empowered by how efficient and rewarding these high-caliber transactions can be when everyone is aligned.

The second rental was completely different but just as valuable: Unit 2505 at Centro (151 SE 1st St), leased for $2,690/month with 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, 526 Sq.Ft.

Smaller in size but packed with purpose, this downtown gem was a perfect match for someone seeking a sleek, modern lifestyle in the heart of the city. The process involved managing timelines, guiding the client through the condo association’s approval process, and staying on top of every detail to ensure a smooth and timely move-in.

What I learned from both? Growth doesn’t come only from big numbers, it comes from showing up fully, every single time. From staying calm under pressure. From listening to your client more than you speak and understand what they want and what works for them. From following up when no one else does. From arriving early to showings, even when it rains. And from treating every deal whether it’s $2,000 or $25,000, with the same care, respect, and hustle.

These two closings reminded me that I’m not just helping people find homes, I’m building relationships, earning trust, and sharpening my skills with every transaction.

I may be early in my journey, but if these past few weeks are any sign of what’s ahead… I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
