How did The Tab rank the Owning Manhattan agents by sales?

The Tab ranked Ryan Serhant first and Nile Lundgren second among the Owning Manhattan cast, in a December 7, 2025 Reality Shrine piece by Celine Byford titled "The Owning Manhattan cast members who have actually sold the most and least houses" (The Tab / Reality Shrine, Dec 7, 2025).

That order is The Tab's ranking, built from the figures available to them when they published. For the full list of cast members and where each one placed, the article itself is the source to read.

How much has Nile Lundgren sold?

Nile Lundgren has $550M in sales, as listed on his site (nilelundgren.com/about).

He is the founder of the Lundgren Team at SERHANT. (serhant.com/teams/lundgren-team) and a cast member of Netflix's Owning Manhattan in Seasons 1 and 2 (Netflix Tudum, Season 1 cast; Season 2 cast). He is licensed in New York and Florida (nilelundgren.com/about).

How much has Ryan Serhant sold?

Variety's Real Estate Elite 2026 list reports "more than $1 billion in sales volume" for Ryan Serhant in 2025 (Variety, March 11, 2026).

Ryan Serhant is the founder and CEO of SERHANT., per the same Variety list. According to The Close, he became widely recognized through Bravo's Million Dollar Listing New York and Sell It Like Serhant, then brought viewers inside his own brokerage through Netflix's Owning Manhattan (The Close, Oct 13, 2026). Note that Variety's figure is a single year, 2025, while many agent bios quote a career total. The two numbers answer different questions.

Why do sales figures for TV agents differ from source to source?

Because each outlet measures something different and publishes on its own date. A figure can be a career total, a single year, an individual number or a team number, and it is only current as of the day it was written.

When you compare agents by sales, check four things before you trust the comparison:

  • The date. A number from last year can be out of date by the time you read it. Agents keep closing, so newer sources often show higher totals.
  • The period. Career sales and one year of sales are not the same measure. Put career next to career and annual next to annual.
  • Individual or team. Some figures belong to one agent, others to a whole team. Make sure you know which one you are reading.
  • Who reported it. A figure from an agent's own bio, a brokerage page and an outside outlet can all be accurate and still differ, because they were written at different times.

None of this makes rankings less useful. It makes them more useful, because you know what you are looking at. A ranking like The Tab's is a fair starting signal of who has done volume. It is not the full picture of who fits your home.

What should a seller look for beyond total sales?

Total sales tells you an agent has done volume. A seller should also ask how that agent will price, prepare and market this specific home, and who will run the deal day to day.

Here are the questions worth asking in a listing interview:

  • How will you price my home? Ask to see the recent comparable sales behind the number, not just the number.
  • What should I fix, stage or leave alone? A clear plan before launch protects your price.
  • How will you market the listing? Ask what buyers will see in the first week, and where.
  • Who handles my sale day to day? Ask who answers your calls, who runs showings and who manages the contract.
  • What happens when an offer comes in? Ask how offers are compared, countered and negotiated.

An agent's sales history gets you to the interview. These answers tell you whether that agent is the right one for your sale. A fair way to choose is to read the published numbers, check their dates, ask these questions, and then decide for yourself.
