10W17 introduces a distinctive new residential silhouette to the Flatiron District. Located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues within the Ladies’ Mile Historic District, the boutique condominium is being developed by Prosper Property Group and designed by DXA Studio. The development comprises 34 luxury residences ranging from one to three bedrooms, including a collection of duplex penthouses.
The architecture draws directly from the neighborhood’s history as a center of fashion, commerce, and design. DXA Studio conceived the façade as an architectural garment draped over the building’s structural frame. Sculptural ultra high performance concrete panels create soft curves and seams across the exterior, giving the building a fluid appearance that contrasts with the more rigid historic architecture surrounding it.
